Samson is a graduate of Southwestern Adventist University. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theology in 2019. He lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his wife, Natali Sembeba, and is the lead pastor of the First Adventist Church. He has a passion for ministry, college-age students, and education.
When he first arrived on the campus of Southwestern Adventist University, he thought all he was going to get out of his experience were awesome memories, friendships, and a degree. Though he did receive those exact things, he learned that our colleges have way more to offer us. He ended up writing a book, "More Than A Degree," to help students open their eyes to all that is around them when they walk onto a college campus. He believes the stigma of a college experience being "just a paper" doesn't apply to those who want more. The book led to the idea of opening up a scholarship at the University that helped him see the beauty of getting the most out of college.
If you believe in the value of a student getting the most out of his or her college experience, please give to this endowment to help get those students through college who want to do just that.
