Jennifer Lopez: Hello, my name is Jennifer Lopez, and I am a Psychology major.
Zeman Feng: Hi, my name is Jenny and I’m a secondary Mathematics major and I’m a coach at CASA.
Thomas Gordon: Hi, my name is Thomas, I am an alumni from Southwestern Adventist University. I went to nursing school here and I graduated in 2019.
Jennifer: I feel so welcomed every time that I come to CASA. I feel like everyone is so willing to help and even that I’m stressed they trust me that peace to me like I got you, we got you and they just give me the process how to study and how to understand the subjects that I’m struggling with.
Zeman: One of the greatest things to being a CASA coach here is I already took all the classes that the students are going to take, I understand the expectations from the professors, and I know what the tests look like and also the assignments and I’m here, I’m able to be here to support the students and to help them to be successful.
Thomas: So, anyone who’s considering possibly going to CASA I would just say, try it before you disregard it, go ahead, and see if it’s for you. Sometimes, especially with nursing students the thought process is “oh, I have no time to do anything like how can I spare time to go and you know going to spend more time just learning how to get coached by someone else you know” I would just say to that, try it see for yourself if you like it.
Jennifer: They are more than willing to help you; they are here because they want to help you to understand their subjects and also the environment. They’re so friendly and also there’s snacks there’s you know the goodies in here and also the people in here are so welcoming.
Zeman: Being a part of CASA is being part of a family group. Everyone here is for your success, also they are here to help you to become a better you.
Thomas: I’m Thomas, and CASA is my home.
