I was born and raised in the state of Texas. I enrolled at Southwestern Adventist University with the hopes of pursuing a degree in finance. My love for Jesus Christ and the hard work ethic of my family has shaped me as a person. I had the privilege to witness the hard work and dedication that my parents endured to provide my little sister and me with the necessary means to live. I was deeply impressed by this act of selflessness and have made it my life mission to make the best of the opportunities they have provided me with.
I am proud to be a student at Southwestern Adventist University, and it is my dream to leave this place knowing that I have left no stone unturned. I will continue working towards graduating magna cum laude with honors. My hope is for the degree which I am pursuing to land me a job that I will be passionate about and able to display all of the skills that I learned here. I want to work in executive management in the future and, with God’s blessing, ultimately start a business. In regards to my family, I hope to one day help my parents, and make them proud.
I am most humbled to receive financial support through scholarships for this upcoming school year. It means the world to me to know that my efforts have value. I will continue striving for academic excellence and make it a priority to pursue the spirit of entrepreneurship.
