Southwestern Adventist University is a proud new member of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce. Joining these Tarrant County community organizations is paving the way for increased connections with businesses and community members across North Texas.

Currently, Mansfield-based businesses and hospitals are providing SWAU students with several hands-on learning experiences. Involvement in the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce will open the door for increased opportunities and service in the Mansfield community.

"We're very excited about the possibilities for SWAU in the Mansfield area,” says Lori Williams, President & CEO of the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce. “Our city is growing and expanding, particularly in the healthcare sector, so this is a great addition to our community."

As a Hispanic Serving Institution, Southwestern Adventist University is dedicated to empowering the future generation of Hispanic leaders by joining the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is excited to create a partnership with local Hispanic business leaders to train the next generation together.

“We’re thrilled to welcome SWAU to our Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce family,” says Anette Landeros, President & CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “Building a strong relationship between our business community and our academic institutions is so valuable to the future of our workforce. SWAU is nurturing the minds of our future business leaders, and we want to be part of their journey so we can attract and retain their talent here locally. We’re looking forward to building a fruitful partnership with our newest FWHCC Member.”

Comprised of a vast group of students and employees from across North Texas, SWAU is proud to partner with businesses and communities across Johnson and Tarrant County. In addition to active memberships in Keene, Cleburne, Joshua and Burleson chambers, SWAU is excited to broaden its involvement to Mansfield and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The faculty, staff and students hope to enrich these communities as the university lives out its core principles of knowledge, faith and service.
