Dr. Ryan Loga works as a college professor because it was during his undergraduate studies that he truly discovered himself. This included getting to know Jesus as his personal savior, even though he grew up as a Seventh-day Adventist.
He married his college sweetheart, Amanda Loga, in 2011. Though they do not have any children, they do have two cats: Sir Baxter and Lady Celeste.
Before coming to SWAU, he lived in Tennessee his entire life. He graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2010 and attended graduate school in mathematics over the next 6 years at the University of Tennessee. So far, his greatest work is developing general education courses in mathematics that is inclusive for every student at SWAU.
He enjoys video games, hiking, playing the guitar, most every topic related to mathematics and learning what he can about anything and everything. Since arriving at SWAU, he has learned many valuable lessons from his students and fellow faculty and staff.
