Southwestern Adventist University is excited to announce the return of the Southwestern Union Freshman Scholarship that provides full-time freshmen a financial head start on their college experience. This stackable $3,000 scholarship will be awarded to freshmen who live within the Southwestern Union - Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas or Oklahoma, and commit to SWAU for fall 2021 by April 1.

With only 200 of these $3,000 scholarships available, funds will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Students should apply and submit their deposit as soon as possible to secure their spot.

“We understand that tuition costs and expenses are key factors to consider in selecting colleges and universities,” shared Dr. Ken Shaw, President of Southwestern Adventist University. “In collaboration with the Southwestern Union of Seventh-day Adventists, we are excited to bring back this $3,000 scholarship to full-time students within our region to help make Christian higher education affordable.”

Interested students should apply to the University at www.swau.edu/apply. Once accepted, they can make their commitment deposit of just $100 before April 1, and the $3,000 award will be placed on their student account.
