The Dr. Ken & Ann Shaw Presidential Scholarship

Dr. Ken Shaw has served as the 25th president of Southwestern Adventist University from 2014-2021. His wife, Ann, has been by his side taking on the role of campus interior designer.

Southwestern Adventist University has been blessed in countless ways by the leadership and dedication of Dr. Ken and Ann Shaw. The changes to our campus are tangible, in the form of the Larry R. Moore Nursing and Administration Building and various remodeled spaces, and intangible, by way of servant leadership that has led to vibrant community partnerships and relationships.

The commitment that Dr. Ken and Ann Shaw have demonstrated for this institution and the love they have for the student body is evidenced by their enthusiasm for the establishment of an endowed scholarship.

The Dr. Ken & Ann Shaw Presidential Endowed Scholarship will be provided to students who are juniors and seniors that demonstrate purpose, talent, and leadership. Recipients will be designated as “Presidential Scholars.”
