Janelle Williams

Janelle Williams grew up in a blended family. During her childhood years she lived in the Midwest states of Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. She attended Enterprise Academy where she was hired to be a resident assistant. This is where the desire to be a dean of women grew. After graduating from there, she attended Andrews University and graduated with a B.S. Education, Emphasis in Life Skills & Behavioral Sciences, as well as an associate’s in interior design. Upon graduation from Andrews she moved to Spangle, WA to be the Dean of Women at Upper Colombia Academy. Two years later she moved to Wisconsin Academy to be the Dean of Women. That summer she married her husband Rob. Her year at Wisconsin Academy was filled with wonderful memories. When offered the position to be the Dean of Women at Southwestern Adventist University the Williamses made the move to Texas. Dylan, Dean Janelle’s son was born in Texas. Dean Janelle received her master’s in leadership from SWAU. She has been a dean of women for 27 years. She enjoys talking daily walks with her dogs Monte and Freckles.
