Southwestern Adventist University’s award-winning Enactus team is a member of the Enactus USA network. The Enactus program provides opportunities to build strong leadership skills through the creation and implementation of entrepreneurial projects. Projects focus on strengthening communities through social enterprise that transforms opportunities into real, sustainable progress.

The Enactus team is run through the Department of Business Administration. However, the team welcomes students from all areas of study who share a passion for leadership, entrepreneurship and community service.

5K Color Run

Run for fun. Run to give!

Families in Ukraine are suffering the effects of armed conflict and social unrest. All proceeds from this event will be donated to support humanitarian efforts. Your participation can make a difference!

The Cross-country color run is a non-profit event organized by SWAU students. Sponsorships and donations are welcome.

This is a fun run, where participants are doused from head to toe in different colored powder throughout the route. Bring your white t-shirt and sunglasses to protect your eyes.

2020-21 Feature Event: Launch U

Are you looking to develop your entrepreneurial skills while pursuing your degree? Are you ready to build the foundation for your own business while in college?

Enactus is partnering with COLAB,Inc. to host Launch U. Students who apply will work on developing a business plan and pitch with the support of Enactus. After a semi-final pitch competition, finalists will move on to the last phase of competition in preparation for the final pitch event sponsored by Launch U. The top three pitches will win cash prizes and the winning pitch will win the grand prize of $5,000 and a trip to California to compete at the Moxie event.

  • SWAU Enactus has been active since 1998
  • Since 2014 we have implemented 13 Unique Projects, 2 International Projects
  • Over the past 7 years, we have logged over 13,000 volunteer hours
  • Team members represent a variety of majors including business, biology, psychology, education and communications.
  • SWAU consistently ranks in the top three of their leagues in national competition, most recently placing 2nd for the 2020 virtual competition.
  • Winner of the National Enactus Spirit Award in 2018
  • SWAU Enactus has been awarded $84,500 in grants, project accelerators and private donations since 2014

2020 has been full of challenges, but with every challenge comes an opportunity. SWAU Enactus is taking the opportunity to focus on our internal community by cultivating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.

Our team will be implementing a business incubator to serve SWAU students who want to invest time and effort into starting a business.
